Telstra’s Next G network is Australia’s fastest national mobile broadband network offering typical downlink speeds of 550kbps - 8.0 Mbps downlink in CBD, metro selected and regional areas and typical speeds of 550kbps to 3Mbps in other areas. Speeds may vary due to congestion, distance from cell, number of users, local conditions, hardware and software configuration and other factors.

What type of plans are available?
There are five types of TMB Data Packs that customers can select from dependant on the customer’s needs.
Standard TMB Data Packs - click here for brochure
- These packs are suitable for laptops and USB Modems and include a compatible Telstra Mobile Broadband device so you have everything you need to get up and running straight away.
- Standard TMB Data Packs are available on 24 month contracts only and include a subsidised device.
Member (SIM Only) TMB Data Packs - click here for brochure
- These packs are suitable for laptops and USB Modems. Customerswill receive a $10 member credit off the TMB Standard Data Pack monthly access fee each month when they bring their own device.
- Customers can either purchase a device outright or on a Monthly Repayment Option, or use an existing device that they already own. Member TMB Data Packs are only available on 24 month contracts.

- These plans are suitable for Smartphones and PDA devices. Customers will receive a $10 monthly credit off the TMB Standard Data Pack price each month when their service is connected to an eligible mobile voice contract (i.e. a non $0 voice contract).
- Mobile Voice TMB Data Packs are only available on a casual contract, i.e. month to month basis.
